Principal's Message

Hello and welcome to our school’s website!

It is with great joy and enthusiasm that I extend my warmest welcome to each and every one of you as the new principal of this amazing school. As an educator with over 25 years of experience, I firmly believe that education is not just about imparting knowledge, but also about nurturing the potential of every student, fostering a love for learning, and preparing them for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. 

At Marina del Rey Middle School and Performing Arts Magnet, our vision is to promote a safe, respectful, challenging, and supporting learning environment that celebrates and honors student achievement, creativity, and diversity. 

Our talented and dedicated teaching staff are committed to providing all of our students with learning opportunities that are engaging, culturally relevant, rigorous, and connected to the real-world. We want to elevate, guide, and inspire students, helping them find their voice in every step of their education journey.

In addition to the academic program, we take pride in providing our students with educational experiences in visual and performing arts, college preparatory, and character development. At Marina del Rey Middle School and Performing Arts Magnet we are committed to providing a holistic education that allows students to thrive and reach their full potential - both academically and emotionally.

We believe that each student brings a unique perspective, and together, we create a vibrant and dynamic learning environment that celebrates difference and embraces diversity.

We believe in the power of a strong partnership between the school, parents, and the community, and recognize that our students do better when we establish supportive relationships between the home and school.
